What is Freeze Drying?

Freeze drying is a high-end technology used to preserve food and pharmaceuticals. Compared to other dehydration processes, with freeze drying there is minimal or no degradation of the fruit or vegetable, so the dried product preserves the color, smell, taste, vitamins, minerals and nutritional constituents as the original fruits.

Due to the high content of Omega 3, 6 and 9 oils in avocado and coconut, freeze drying has always been a huge challenge, and it has only been done in a laboratory scale. We have worked for several years with a number of research centers to develop patented processes that allows us to create some of the most innovative ingredients of our time!
